1) no one cares about Women Studies
2) you don't care about Women's Issues, unless you live in the slums with the cockaroaches
3) you must marry , your a woman now (like I was completely unaware)
4) even in Africa they dont care about Women Studies ( I have no clue what is that supposed to mean)
5) I may be 73 or 75, either way I look good for my age

Hadith - Bukhari 3:553, Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar [Also in Muslim, Narrated Abu Huraira]

Allah's Apostle said, "A woman was tortured and was put in Hell because of a cat which she had kept locked till it died of hunger." Allah's Apostle further said, "(Allah knows better) Allah said (to the woman), 'You neither fed it nor watered when you locked it up, nor did you set it free to eat the insects of the earth.' "


Hadith - Muwatta 2.13

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha from Humayda bint Abi Ubayda ibn Farwa that her maternal aunt Kabsha bint Kab ibn Malik, who was the wife of the son of Abu Qatada al-Ansari, told her that once Abu Qatada was visiting her and she poured out some water for him to do wudu with. Just then a cat came to drink from it, so he tilted the vessel towards it to let it drink. Kabsha continued, "He saw me looking at him and said, 'Are you surprised, daughter of my brother?' I said, 'Yes.' He replied that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, cats are not impure. They intermingle with you .' "

Yahya said that Malik said, "There is no harm in that unless one sees impurities on the cat's mouth."
Hadith - Muslim, Narrated 'Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin

Dawud ibn Salih ibn Dinar at-Tammar quoted his mother as saying that her mistress sent her with some pudding (harisah) to Aisha who was offering prayer. She made a sign to me to place it down. A cat came and ate some of it, but when Aisha finished her prayer, she ate from the place where the cat had eaten. She stated: The Messenger of Allah said: It is not unclean: it is one of those who go round among you. She added: I saw the Messenger of Allah performing ablution from the water left over by the cat.

Hadith - Dawud, Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah

The Prophet forbade payment for a cat.

Note: The name of Abu Hurayrah, a major authority on hadith, literally translates to "cat man" or "father of cats". Both Abu Hurayrah and the Prophet enjoyed the presence of cats.


Point is:

Do not sell a cat for money or other traded goods.

There is no harm in the cat's saliva unless the cat has visible impurities on its mouth.

Feel free to have pet cats, but be sure to adequately feed and water, and provide roaming time.

SYRIA HAS MY HEART

i really badly need my moms pakistan food, and a medium double double.
sigh tabasco sauce isnt cutting it.

but I LOVE SYRIA.
I may be staying longer, I have no idea, its all about what works out.
I miss everything and everyone in Canada. But, Syria has my heart officially.
I want to hug and kiss every Syrian, I feel like they are my relatives, my actual family, this feels like my home.

why syria is great

I love my furry feline friends, there so fluffy and beautiful. I am always curious to know 'what is it like in the feline World'? I mean what do they think about?, fish, mice, licking their bum ( flash back: i remember when my cat chico was around , I would insist on kissing him on his mouth and my Abu would yell " HE LICKS HIS BUMS" Even though my father is correct, cats saliva is anti-bacterial. I wikied it.), rolling in the grass.... or is it deeper. Are they thinkin about how great their Creator is, how their existence has so much meaning and significance in the world, the intricacy in nature, the change in gender relations between cats in North America over the last 60 years, will black cats continue to be scapegoats, is there really a "natural order", or will we see a cats in the White House.... I will continue to ponder on the mind of the cat. And be awed by their simplicity and beauty. One of my favourite parts of Syria, is all the cats I get to feed. The other day I had the privilege of having "Buns" my Finnish friend's cat cuddle with me on his sofa. Buns made my day, cats are really generous with their love. So yes, if your an animal lover, than Syria is a great place to be, TONS OF CATS.
